Hi There,

Im looking to upgrade my PC so I can stream and Record(preferably record at 1080p) but I'm not sure if the parts i have picked out will all be compatible.

My current pc has:

AMD ATHLON II X4 640 3Ghz Quad Core Processor / CPU
8GB DDR3 1333Mhz Ram
XFX 7870 Double D edition
MSI 760GM-P21-(FX) uATX Motherboard
1TB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive

I would like to add an SSD and upgrade the PSU, CPU and Mother board to these:

SanDisk 128GB SSD
Corsair RM850 Fully Modular 850W 80+ Gold PSU
Intel Core i7 4770K 3.50GHz
Asus Z87-K Socket 1150 HDMI DVI D-Sub 8-Channel HD Audio ATX Motherboard

I'm not too knowledgeable on upgrading pc's so any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks.

Doing something like this would be better. I don't think you'll be getting 1080p recording out of a single 7870. This would get you an additional 7870 for Crossfire, and still have plenty of CPU power, power supply, and an SSD as well.

The parts you picked are all great quality, but aren't the best solution for what you're going with.

Unfortunately I dont have the funds to get a new graphics card as well.

How come you would pick the Antec PSU and Motherboard?

What I just picked is equivalent dollar wise to what you selected lol

Went with the Antec PSU because it's great quality, and cheaper. 850w is way overkill for a single GPU setup.

And that motherboard is just fine for what you need, can crossfire just fine and is a solid buy.

Ahh ok 😛

I will be uprgading my graphics card later on this year and probably get some more ram but just getting what I need at the moment!

Thank you for you help.
