Upgrading My CPU

Hey guys, I currently have the FX-8350 and GTX 960.

Since it is Christmas and I got some money, I am thinking about upgrading my CPU. I mostly play CSGO and sometimes I stream it.

I am thinking about getting the i5 4590. Will there be much of a performance difference?

Is it worth the money?

There is no i5 4590k. Do you mean just the 4590 or the i5 4690k?

Yeah sorry meant just the 4590.

Go with the i5. The preformance is much better, you will achieve more consistent frames and AMD cards have poor single cores. The i5 4590 is a great CPU and will sastify your needs.

 

[Ad Hoc]

You'll get a big jump in performance in any games that were held back by your current CPU. Just make sure to get a new motherboard as well. Amd and Intels CPUs use different sockets.
