So, I've been doing a decent amount of researching, and I think I've found what motherboard and graphics card I'm wanting to put into my PC, but I'm not sure if they will exactly work. I will list what I currently have, and what I'm wanting to switch to. I need your guys help on deciding if it will work good or not. :) Thanks in advance!

What I Have:

  • HAF cooler master 912

  • AMD A10-5800K AMD A10-5800K Trinity Quad-Core 3.8GHz processor.http://

  • 530 Watt Power Supply

What I'm Wanting

  • ASRock H97M Pro LGA1150 mATX Intel Motherboard. http://

  • SAPPHIRE DUAL-X 100373L Radeon R9 280 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0
    http://

Solution
The GPU is fine, your current CPU is an AMD APU which will not be compatible with an intel motherboard.
SO if you buy that Intel motherboard you will to purchase an Intel CPU that is compatible with the motherboard.

So the graphics with the motherboard would be compatible, but not the processor that I currently have? Can you suggest some good gaming processors that would be compatible? and what would be a good price range for a gaming processor? I was looking at the Intel i3 but I'm not sure if it would be worth my money to get it for gaming. I don't have a ton of money for a processor though.
