i bought a pre-built pc which i thought it was cheap overall and decided to upgrade it.
Specs atm:

i7 4790s LGA 1150

8gb ddr3 1600mhz

Intel H87 (Memphis2) Micro-atx

180w psu

2gb ddr3 radeon r7 240 (lowprofile).

From what i've learned i know i'll need to upgrade my psu ofc. My budget is around 400 euros hopefully for both gpu and psu, and i need this upgrade to be able to stream the most games possible with decent quality and framerate. For example with this Gpu i can play h1z1 smoothly on low graphics but if i start the stream it gets very low fps. I didn't really want to change my mobo aswell... but if i had to change my mobo for the sake of the gpu i guess i would but just in last resort.
What would be the best gpu for my set? with no compatibility problems of course.

on a side note, the compatibility between the mobo and the psu its just the pins right? Are they basically universal in form or should i be concerned?
As i said i know ill be replacing my psu ofc ill get some 600w, but its not my main concern. ill buy it according to the gpu.

i would get a better psu first because NOTHING will run on a 180 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438014
this evga bronze 600w is what i would get for a gpu that you are not running crossfire/sli
for a gpu if you are using a 1080p monitor a gtx 950 would be a good choice how ever because you have the money a gtx 970 or a r9 390 would be very good and with your cpu you could do an sli in the future.

stay away from the b1

the good evga units are the GS, B2, G2, P2

some pre-builts have custom connections, you would be up a creek without a paddle with those

luckily that mobo IS standard 24-pin, so you are good there

the next concern is case size

that will limit what gpu's you can use

what model HP do you have?

an evga b1 is a very good psu for someone on a budget.
if you are going to spend more money or getting a better gpu then it is a bad idea
