I want to upgrade my graphics card from AMD R7750 2GB to the AMD R9380X 4GB.
I want to know if it will be possible on my current pc and not cause a bottleneck.
My current specs are:
M5A99X EVO R2.0 motherboard
AMD FX-8120 3.1ghz processor
16GB RAM
AMD R7750 2GB graphics

So I played the Battlefield 1 open beta on medium and got between 30-50 fps.
So do I need to upgrade my processor first or will it be fine to only upgrade my graphics card?

Please help, thanks in advance.

That CPU will bottleneck the R9 380X or RX 470 a little. Do you feel comfortable overclocking it? Regardless, you will see quite a jump in performance, bottleneck or not (and it won't be a huge one). It sounds like your needs are pretty modest - even a GTX 950 or RX 460 would probably fit the bill and be well over twice as powerful as your current card.

Thanks to RobCrezz and Jeffredo. I had a look at the RX 470 and it looks like the better option.
I haven't oc my system yet, but with the new graphics card I will oc and see what I get out.
