Upgrading my graphics card

So I currently have a GTX 760 OEM TI, I have made a post before but I didn't know what motherboard I had during the time, I have a MS 7796 Ver 1.2. I want to get a better graphics card but I was told by my local computer store that I can't upgrade any more since its at its 'max limit'

Should post full specs of system, but if a 760 works on it, new cards should also work since they still using pcie 3.0. Other factors may be the clearance for any your card to fit into your case, or probably your power supply might need an upgrade.

Is this an Alienware desktop you trying to upgrade?
