Upgrading my laptop gpu possible

Yes, yes yes yes.... I know... It this kind of question again. 99% said no! It's not possible.
But my laptop is the 1%, it's the clevo w355ssq. It has a nvidia gtx860m, 16gb ram, Intel core i7 4710hq.
So, can i upgrade to a nvidia gtx 980m?


*I heard it somewhere(I thinks it the oem) that the gpu is not soldered together that's why I'm asking*

If I am not mistaken you can indeed change the GPU but doing so requires some skills and knowledge. Changing a desktop GPU is not a big problem for me but I won't touch the 980M in my laptop :p. If you manage to find a 980M on sale you can try it, but the prices of a laptop GPU are simply too high for it to be profitable.

You can do it but I won't recommend.
