Upgrading my PC

Hi guys dis is RushBoyz

im looking to upgrade my gaming PC it for game.
My budget is 600-700$

atm dis is what i have for my gaming PC

CPU: i5-6600k 3.5ghz
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
MOBO: Asus ATX DDR Intel LGA 1151 SATA III (6Gbit/s) Gaming/Aura Motherboard (B150 PRO)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 for Intel 100, Red LED
PSU: 850 WATT Gold
SSD: 2TB - for gaming and other stuff for games and software
HDD: 1TB - non gaming stuff picture so on.

what do you guys think what best for me to upgrade for the long run? im thinking of upgrading the GPU to 1080ti or get a i7-7700k. what do you guys think?

What monitor do you have? Resolution and refresh rate?

144hz 1920x1080. 27"inch

GTX 1080 ti is more for 4k@60Hz or 2k@144Hz gaming.
If you intend to upgrade your monitor at some later time, then yes - that would be a good upgrade option.

But for 1080p@144Hz - GTX 1070ti or GTX 1080 would be perfectly enough.

I wouldn't get a 1080 Ti with a 1080p monitor. It would be the same experience as with a GTX 1070 Ti.

I would get a GTX 1070 Ti and if you can afford it an i7-7700K.
