Question Upgrading my pc

Im very new to pc i bought this pc a year ago for around $400 didn't really want it to play games but now im thinking of upgrading it to game and i need help would appreciative it if anyone would help me thanks!

GPU - AMD Radeon R7 240 Series

Processor - AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor, 3500 Mhz, 3 Core(s), 6 Logical Processor(s)

BaseBoard Product- Gigabyte 970A-DS3P FX

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB

I wanna run games on 1920x 1080p
I could already run them at 1080p but i want a higher fps i mostly play older games on my pc like Black ops 2, Gta, just older games not looking into play new games but it would be nice for my pc to handle it.

then include your preferred site for purchase and then your location to understand the currency and perhaps other sites that may be in your range of acces.

Include the age of the PSU not just it's wattage and make and model.
