I'm looking for a new processor, I've recently been having issues with BSOD (black screen of death), been happening for a few weeks now, and I've done everything that *I* possibly can to fix it, so I'd rather just buy a new processor, as that was the problem to my other computer that had the same issues. Here are my specs, I was wondering if there's any way I can upgrade my processor instead of buying the same one.

This is all the specs I know, I did upgrade the graphics card so the one I put is not the one that came with the computer, If anyone has any insight to my BSOD problem, please do help. I work from my computer, so it not working is really hurting me.

Don't just go and buy a new processor, first establish why the BSOD (blue screen of death) is happening, otherwise you may just waste your money.

When the BSOD happens, it's always accompanied by a STOP error code and a particular file that's linked to the cause. For example, a common display driver problem is 'STOP 0x0000003B' with the file 'atikmdag.sys'.

The STOP error is about halfway down the screen and the file is just below it. Make a note of what they are and then diagnose the cause before you replace any components.

I couldn't find a name, and I'm not having blue screens of death. I'm having a black screen. I can open up task manager, I've tried ending explorer.exe and reopening it, that doesn't work, I can load fine in safe mode, I've tried system restoring several times.

I've even gone to command prompt in safe mode and tried sfc /Scannow. It said that there were corrupted files that were repaired but I'm still having the problem, so I know that something is wrong.
