id like to upgrade to a 400-500w to be able to make it my media center graphic cards etc etc..

Solution
I've replaced the PSU in one of those HP Pavilion Media Center systems for a friend. I installed an XFX TS Series 550W (P1-550S-XXB9) in its place and it fit perfectly.
Hello,

Probably the safest approach is to measure your existing PSU and look for a replacement with the same physical dimensions but a higher wattage.

Plus add up the power requirements for all of the components you expect to install and add some margin for future growth.

Then use that information to identify a PSU meeting those requirements.
