Hi guys,

Sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere but I couldn't find anything.

My current PC build has a Kingston Hyper X 240GB SSD but as I mostly use the PC for Gaming it is getting full very quickly. I was thinking of upgrading my SSD.

As my SSD is my C: drive, my question is how do I switch the drives, I have Windows and all my programs on this drive but I'm not sure how I transfer the information across. I'm assuming you can't just Copy & Paste 😛

Thanks for any responses

Also, The SSD I am looking at is Samsung 840 EVO 500GB. Any thoughts on this or better? I preferably need 500GB or more.

Not at all. Especially if you add another SSD.
Windows does not care where things are installed, as long as you install it to that drive initially, rather than trying to 'move it' later.

Also, you may have other things taking up that 240GB SSD space. I have the OS and ALL applications apart from games on my main SSD, and currently about 52GB used space.
