I want to upgrade a refurbished PC I bought with a new GPU and processor.

Intel Quad Core i5 3.4GHz, 16GB RAM, 120GB SSD + 1TB 7200 RPM HDD, Windows 10, Nvidia GT1030

The motherboard is a Dell 0N4YC8. On the Dell website the computer identifies as an Optiplex 9020, but I don’t know if that’s accurate.

I’d like to upgrade to a Core i7 and a 4GB GPU, but I’m not savvy with matching up components to motherboards. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
Yes that board was used in the Optiplex 9020.

These are the CPUs that board supports (click on "Compatible Products")

And I would probably just get the fastest i7 you can find at a reasonable price where you live.

You will need to put a better cooler on it, since that one is pretty feeble.

And yeah whatever the fastest GPU is that you can find. Right now the prices on any GPU are just through the roof it's pretty nuts, so good luck out there.
