Current build that is staying:

Case: Coolermaster HAF X
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 390 Nitro
PSU: Corsair CX750M

Misc components:
-Disc Drive
-None stock CPU Fan(not sure brand)
-One Internal SSD and two HDD (may only use one HDD)

------------------------------------------------------------

Planned new components:

Mobo: MSI X470 GAMING PRO CARBON
CPU: RYZEN 7 2700X
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 8GB

---------------------------------------------------------

This is the build I'm thinking about and just wanted to get opinions on it if any.

Also if anyone has answers to two concerns I have I'd appreciate it greatly.

1) I saw the Mobo has dual 8 pin ATX 12v power connection. My current PSU only has a 24 pin and a single 8 pin ATX as non modular. Can I split the 8 pin or can I use the modular 8 pin for it as well? (I'll post pictures if needed)

2) It's not that much more power than my current build but is there anyway to tell if my PSU will be powerful enough for the upgrades.

Any information I can get would be greatly appreciated.
