Hi. I don't know what to do...I would like to buy a new gen console for the exclusives, it plays smoother(because it's meant just for games), i don't have to change the hardware like on pc, but never had one so i don't really know if those are true. I have a computer with the following specs:
4 GB RAM, AMD Athlon II x4 750 K, AMD Radeon HD 7850 Saphire Edition. Should I upgrade or the specs are fine for now? What do you think?

If youère looking to get a console and have at least 400-500$, hereès what you should get:

Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($137.99 @ NCIX US)

The CPU is WAY better than the 750K, and you can reuse your RAM, storage, GPU, case and PSU. It's WAY better than getting a console.

thanks, i'll think about that :)

No problem!

the only thing i would recommend upgrading at-least right now is the ram. for gaming i would say the sweet spot is 8GB DDR3 1600mhz, if you can spend bit more $ get 8gb of 1866mhz RAM. the AMD radeon 7850 won't need to be swapped out if you just wan't a "better then console experience" as for the CPU, the athlon x4 750k is still a very good cheap CPU for gaming and i don't think you'll need to upgrade it just yet. it is tempting to go out and buy the latest and greatest but its not always necessary. do you know what power supply you have?

here is a list of parts you may want to consider upgrading

RAM upgrades
i would suggest upgrading just the ram for now here are some options

$90 1866mhz RAM: http://goo.gl/UZAgmg

$70 1600mhz RAM: http://goo.gl/F5QPlq

graphics card upgrades. (optional)
you don't need to upgrade your graphics card just yet but in case it breaks or you eventually feel the need to upgrade these are some great budget options

$125 http://goo.gl/4OOIpM

$160 http://goo.gl/jxqisJ

$180 http://goo.gl/VhHY0U

thanks, i think i'll upgrade the RAM to 8 GB 1600 mhz

Glad to help. Again the system you have now with the ram upgrade is good enough for a better the console experience. but i must add that while this is acceptable for gaming, any game recording, video rendering or or advanced photo editing may require a complete upgrade. but if you're not into those kinds of things and just want play some games then upgrading the ram is all you should need for now.
