Question Upgrading older system

Hello!

My gpu's is toast and im trying to figure out what would be a good replacement that fits my system, and honestly its a jungle for me. Hoping someone can help me with a recommendation? Preferably not a SLI option, but just a single card. I don't have the means for a new system at the moment and im mostly just play CS2 and league of legends.

Ram: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 2x8gb 2400Mhz

SLI has been dead for years. I would be wary of using that PSU. It's not that great of quality, and could have been what killed your GPU. Need to know a budget as well.

Yup! Have tested both cards in another system and nothing.

RX 9060XT 16GB would be a good match ~ 2.2x more performance than single GTX 1070.

RTX 4060 ti 16GB would be a bit over budget, also similar performance.

RTX 4060 ti 8GB would fit into budget, but lower amount of vram will bite you in rear later
(unless you're planning only play CS2 and LOL).

A GPU in that price is easy enough, but adding a PSU too would require a bit more.

I second that you need a new PSU. Your old one likely killed your two GTX 1070s.

Something like a Corsair RM750x would be a wise investment.

8600K is a massive limitation for almost any recent GPU especially when playing CPU bound games like CS2 and LoL.

But better than no GPU at all, which is the case here. Their slow ram is more of a limitation than the CPU though.
