Hallo there!

So, I got an older system here, and I am currently considering doing some upgrades.
But I have no idea if my mobo can fit what I am considering to upgrade.

I got a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 and the upgrades I am considering is:

Intel i5 2nd gen 2500k ---> Intel Core i5-4690K
2x MSI GTX 650 ti boost SLI ---> 1x MSI GTX 970 twin frozr
Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600MHz XMS3 vengeance ---> HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 16GB

Can this be done, or do I have to upgrade my mobo as well?

Solution
You can upgrade your ram and gpu, but you need a new motherboard if you want to upgrade your cpu. An i5 2500k is an lga 1155 socket cpu, an i5 4690k is an lga 1150 socket cpu
