Hey guys! I am thinking of upgrading my cpu to my Asus rog g20bm and the motherboard has FM2+ socket (currently i have AMD A8-7600) and i would like to upgrade for the maximum best performance. Im playing a lot of H1Z1: King of the Kill and would like to run exactly that game better. Im not very good with computers, so i came here and hope you guys would give me suggestions. Thanks!

Unfortunately you are playing an extremely CPU intensive title. While the good news is you may be able to get a better GPU in there (like an RX 460) there are few CPU choices for that socket and honestly none are worth spending the money on.

You may get slightly improved performance. But its not enough to be worth spending any money. Unfortunately those compact platforms just don't work well when it comes to upgrades, especially using FM2+

That's sad 🙁 And i don't have the money to build a whole new pc, but thanks for the answer!

G4560 and RX 460 2GB @1080P Max settings will average around 45 FPS, lower things down to Medium/ High and you will rarely see a dip below 55fps. H1Z1 does use DX11 now but it's implementation is still flawed and highly CPU dependent. I doubt they will attempt DX12 as it will be costly and hurt a narrow bottom line they have now.

CPU: Intel Pentium G4560 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor ($59.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: MSI B250M GAMING PRO Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($84.99 @ B&H)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($58.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: XFX Radeon RX 470 4GB Triple X Video Card ($148.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $352.95

Moving to a 1050TI or RX 460 will knock off about $20 as both can be found for $127

A Athlon 860K and a RX 460 would handle 1050P and medium settings at around 45FPS if that is a cheaper option.

860K will run $50-$70
RX 460 $127
I hope you have faster than 1600mhz RAM because that also effects FM2+ CPU's by as much as 15%.
