Upgrading Pentium G3258

What should i upgrade my Pentium G3258 to? I have a R9 290 with r9 390 bios, Asrock H81M-HDS and 8 gigs of ram

Something like the 4460, 4690 or 4690k would be a nice upgrade from your g3258.
If you really want OC though, you should go buy the 4690k + a z97 mobo, but then again. Then you might aswell buy a 7600k + a z270 mobo.

So something like the 4460 or 4690 would be quite good

Actually 3258 is 2 core 2 thread. Processor.u r gpu seems like stunning in performance wise.hope u r building for gaming.if its for gaming pls not that this combo will surely bottleneck.processor is not much comparative for gpu.i would suggest u to get i5 4th cpu for better performance.rest of the components are fine.thank u

if your considering only a cpu upgrade then stay with I5 or I7 4th generation Haswell (a nice 4570 or 4590 performs quite well) ~ 200$
I would suggest pumping your ram from 8gb to 16gb as well
