Hello im buying afox rx 580 8gb idk when but no so soon. (costs 200$ new in my poor country lol)
I have x8 pcie 2.0 on mobo which i know will bottleneck.
Which used mobo shoud i get x16 pcie 3.0 or 2.0 to not get bottleneck. (Have i5 2320 i know itll be huge bottleneck paired with this gpu but will upgrade in future, maybe with i7 3770k or something)
I also know ddr3 ram is bottleneck but dont care lol.
Have 2 psus
Falcon flc-450L that im currently using in my pc
has 450w
Pca246 460w collecting dust on shelf (not first owner of it).
I know rx 580 needs 8x1 pin. Shoud i get 2 molex to 1x8 pin adapter or is that not good idea(falcon has 2 molex, pca246 has only sata)?
Which psu is better to use of these two?
Or shoud i sell both psu's and get better one?

Solution
CPU: I5 2320
MB: H61M dont know exact model only know that it has x8 pcie 2.0.

I would like to get another motherboard for same socket 1155 for very cheap money (bcs of pcie
H61 boards have PCIE 2.0/3.0 x16 slot.
PCIE version depends on CPU.
2nd gen gives PCIE 2.0, 3rd gen gives PCIE 3.0.

So - to get PCIE 3.0 x16 you don't need to change motherboard. Just cpu to 3rd gen.
i5-3570, i7-3770
Might be necessary to update motherboard BIOS to compatible with 3rd gen cpus.

Please stylize your thread like so:
in order to avoid us asking questions that would easily be answered first hand.

As for your (current)build, please list the specs to it like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

(costs 200$ new in my poor country lol)
Cost of parts can and will vary from one region to the next, stock availability will also cause prices to go up or down. At this point of time, the RX500 series of GPU's have grown long in the jaw and for a platform you seemingly have that's dated from more than a decade ago

Sell these and get a better one.

MB: H61M dont know exact model only know that it has x8 pcie 2.0.
You would be able to see in the bios or via "dxdiag " or do the next,

download hwinfo,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
in the main window at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "Summary for Clipboard",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons

Here is all info so which mobo is this

Hwinfo:

Also to note 580 is 1.72 kg while rx 550 is 500 grams and my security
latch on pcie slot is broken so gpu can only be held with screws.

So will 3x more weight card be able to hold just with screws.

And which PSU to buy that is good and that also has 1x8 connector for gpu

That prebuild info is not really helping, so the next should do,

H61 boards have PCIE 2.0/3.0 x16 slot.
PCIE version depends on CPU.
2nd gen gives PCIE 2.0, 3rd gen gives PCIE 3.0.

So - to get PCIE 3.0 x16 you don't need to change motherboard. Just cpu to 3rd gen.
i5-3570, i7-3770
Might be necessary to update motherboard BIOS to compatible with 3rd gen cpus.
Think instead of a new motherboard that a 3770(K) would be a better upgrade. Best to look your pc up at the Lenovo site for cpu support and latest bios.

Idk if this is prebuild pc, i bought it used, only thing i swapped is r9 270 to rx 550.
Maybe only motherboard is from prebuild.
I cant find anything online about this motherboard model.
I never updated bios before and dont know how, only thing that i know is risky

-
System Manufacturer: LENOVO
System Model: 3484N5G
BIOS: LENOVO BIOS Rev: F1KT54A 0.0 (type: BIOS)
i found this dx diag online of someone using 3rd gen on this bios version. So it probably supports more 3rd gens
I7 3770k is from 2012
i7 2600k is 2011
my bios is mid 2013 so it maybe supports it

Ty for help, ill buy this one then.

Just a question, will 550W be enough for
95w cpu, 150w gpu, dual monitor with 1280x1024 res(will buy second one in future), and whole system in general.
For what you are doing you I cannot imagine the system will pull more than 300-400w maximum. This means that in the future you can get a better graphics card with the same PSU assuming its still running well. The only thing about this PSU is it only has one 8 (6+2) pin PCIe cable. This can be limiting for future graphics card upgrades more than it only being 550w.
