I just upgraded my RAM as i plan on doing some editing, i previously had 16GB 3200 mhz and upgraded to 32GB 3600 mhz. For some reason i've started having few issues with some of my games crashing, or on boot up taking slightly longer time to get to windows screen. Also seems like a times when i boot up both of monitors do not display. Could all this be a result of the new RAM or just a coincidence? Is there anything i may be missing that i need to update? Thank you

Sorry,

CPU i have AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
PSU Apevia 800Watt Gold

I dont have the P/N with me this is the description when i purchased( Corsair Vengeance RBG Pro DDR4 (PC4 - 28800) C18

its two kits of 16GB total of 4 8Gb sticks
Mixing kits is never a good idea and 4x8GB combos exacerbates the problem.
Return what you have and get a single kit 32GB (2x16) that are listed on the MB QVL that are tested and known to work.

Download the correct QVL (Matice): https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-ELITE-rev-10/support#support-doc and sellect from the listing.
Ryzen 7 3700x officially supports 3200MHz so no guarantee you can achieve 3600MHz if that's the rated frequency you choose.

Please list your full system specs and the P/N of your RAM Kit for better assessment.
Always best to bring Bios back to default by clearing CMOS when upgrading.

I have X570 Aourus Elite Motherboard
EVGA RTX 3080 video card

I added 4 sticks of 8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3600

Full system specs include the CPU, PSU and the P/N Part Number of your RAM kit which is used to check for a mismatch.
3600MHz are OC RAM and beyond the JDEC standard so Bios input is probable.
Does your RAM kit come as a single kit of 32GB or 4 kits of 8GB?

I returned the RAM

But here was the P/N CMW16GX4M2D3600C18 Ver 4.32 for a kit

So its probably better that i just stick with 3200 mhz correct?

When i placed my old RAM back on i noticed my fps on games be lower than what they use to before i attempted to switch to 32GB 3600

Under DRAM Status it showed the following:
------------------------------------------------------------
DDR4_A1: N/A
DDR4_A2: TeamGroup 8GB 2400MHz
DDR4_b1:N/a
DDR4_b2:TeamGroup 8GB 2400MHZ

X.M.P - DDR4-3200 16 -18-18-38-56-1.35V
----------------------------------------------------------

is that normal? Sorry im kinda new to most of this.

There are three kits at 32gb (2x16) CL16 at 3200MHz that are listed on your QVL that have been tested and known to work.

They are Corsair:

CMK32GX4M2B3200C16
CMU32GX4M2C3200C16 ver4.31
CMD32GX4M2C3200C16 ver5.39

There are also kits from G.Skill at 3200MHz (4x8) 32GB that have been tested and known to work.

F4-3200C16Q-32GVK
F4-3200C14Q-32GFX

It may take a little more playing around in Bios to get the (4x8) kits to work
As they are all OC RAM they are not PLug and Play so you will have to either select an XMP or DOCP profile in Bios or manually set Timings and Voltage under Dram timing control.

Good Luck lChilidogl :)

I hope you didn't expect them to be Plug and Play.
3200MHz is beyond the JDEC standard so don't use a profile such as XMP or D.O.C.P.

As they are OC RAM you will have to manually enter their SPD Timings in Bios and adjust voltage accordingly.
If you chose one of the kits listed above from the QVL they should work.
