Hi everyone, first time poster.

I'm interested in upgrading my memory from 16GB to 32GB. I'm currently running an Alienware Aurora R5 model (Intel i5-6400). I opened up the PC and noticed its running a single stick in where 4 slots are available. The current memory is DD4 @ 2133Mhz.

I'm having trouble running finding memory at that speed, the question I have is, if I put in memory at a higher clock speed will that be incompatible? I'm currently looking at this one:

HyperX Fury DD4 @ 2400MHz - 2x16GB (Kit of 2)
https://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/memory/fury-ddr4?partnum=HX424C15FB3K2/32

Thanks in advance!

You won't want to add to your current RAM. Instead, you'll want to replace what is currently installed.

Apologies, that's part of what I was trying to imply. So if I buy that memory kit that I referenced and I replace the memory stick, should it work regardless of the speed?
