Question Upgrading recommendations

Im having micro stutters while playing games for some time now and im thinking on upgrading either a cpu or adding more ram. Even a new ssd and I dont know what to do.

System:
Ryzen 3 2200g
1660 Gigabyte
8gb ram ddr4 3000mhz corsair vegeance
Msi b350m gaming pro
Toshiba 1tb HDD
500w EVGA

Hmmm, your CPU and GPU are both fairly capable. The 8gb ram could be the problem, but I make no promises, what games are you having micro-stutters on?

Mostly games like Cod warzone,its pretty unstable

What settings are you playing at? COD is known for being a bit unoptimized. And did this micro stutter just start or did you start playing a new game then it started?

I would say your 4c/4t APU is holding you back. That title really needs 6c/12t CPU to run well, though more ram wouldn't hurt. The recommended CPU is at least a Ryzen 5 1600. Upgrading to an R5 3600, after making sure your bios is up to date, would really benefit you.

What about a r5 2600, is it good enough?

Have you been overclocking? If you have then just lower your overclock and your issues should go away.

The only thing I have kinda overclocked is my ram fron 3000mhz that it normally is to 3200mhz because my motherboard doenst have the first option
