I currently have a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF and I would like to be able to relocate it into a new case, replace the PSU, Upgrade the RAM and GPU however if possible without replacing the Motherboard as it is a OEM copy of windows so I don't wont to have to purchase win7/8.
Currently I planned on buying these parts and taking the motherboard, CPU, Hardrive and optical drive from the Optiplex.

RAM- http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004ISXB4C/?tag=pcp0f-21

Case- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Antec-VSK-4000E-Solid-Metal-Construction/dp/B009LDNTOG/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1429221095&sr=1-6&keywords=computer+case

PSU- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-Builder-Bronze-Power-Supply/dp/B009RMP44O/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1429221460&sr=1-3&keywords=PSU+600w+bronze

GPU-http://www.amazon.co.uk/SAPPHIRE-AMD-Graphics-Card-DDR5/dp/B00IRTXPBM/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1429221585&sr=1-1&keywords=amd+r9+280

I'm on a £280 budget So I would like to be upgraded in one go but if it is not possible to work with this config could you please reccomend a new motherboard and I will purchase that with windows instead of the GPU upgrade and leave that untill August(Birthday).

I would like to play all sorts of games including some tripple A titles on my 1080p 27inch Acer and I do plan to upgrade my CPU later on down the line.
Thanks

The parts look okay for your budget. You didn't say what Processor was in there. You are definitely stepping in the right direction. As for Triple A games, I don't know. Maybe with the setting turned down some. It will be much better than what you have now for sure.

I currently Have an i3-2100 at 3.1Ghz and I plan to upgrade that later on I was more just wondering if these parts would actually work with what I already have (Mainly the motherboard) It's just that currently the CPU is the being bottlenecked and If I were to not upgrade anything else I think they would turn out to be a larger bottleneck, especially the RAM(4gb)

These parts should work although the Corsair Builder series of power supplies use poor capacitors. Go with a Seasonic 620W or an XFX 650W power supply.

Ok thanks for the help, will probably purchase within week or two since the money I currently have is in cash.
