[SOLVED] Upgrading SSD in a SATA drive bay

My bad, by mounting I meant buying an external HDD.
You need sata cable for Asus laptops.

the specs on that LT indicate it can be configured with a PCIe SSD up to 1TB and an HDD up to 1TB. A 2.5" SSD is a direct replacement for an HDD. If that space you show is to accommodate the HDD, then it should be just a matter of plugging in your new SSD. The PCIe SSD it the WD object at the top.

See the two white ribbon cable "sockets" above that ribbon cable just above the left side of the battery? The one on the left is the sata port iirc. He needs the ribbon cable & rest of the parts.
I've done some research and i'll mount a HDD instead, my laptop is brand new and seldom have i found some cable able to use.
