hi, I have a question. I bought an SSD 2 days ago. I removed my HDD, installed the SSD... everything runs properly and good. I also ordered a caddy for my HDD which will come in a couple of days and my question is.. I want to install it to as a second drive(the hdd) to store files on it but I also have a problem.. I used the HDD to boot my windows, files stuff like that and since I wanna put it as a second.. what will happen I mean? when I install it on the caddy and stuff will I have to go in disk management and reformat it or? how to proceed?

PS. I don't want to keep my files on the HDD, just use it as a storage drive.

When multiple drives are present in system, BIOS settings determine the drive from which OS will be loaded.
So after attaching second drive, you'll need to enter BIOS and make sure, that SSD has priority over HDD in boot order.
After that you can go to Disk Management and format your storage drive.
