Question Upgrading the ram on my HP Omen 17-cb0056tx

Hey guys, so I was looking into upgrading the ram on my laptop but cant find any info on the board speeds for it. Currently it has (1x16) 16 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM was looking to get 2x8 GB at a higher speed. the HP customer support site has info on all the other components, just not the mobo or its ram speeds. Can anyone help out with this.

Hey man,

I've tried my best finding some info on what the max rated speeds are for the HM370 chipset that is in your laptop, but I can't really find anything. All that I can find is, that if you look on Crucial's RAM & SSD Upgrades page, the max speed is 3200MHz. I can't find any info on what the minimum and maximum CAS Latency values are..

Though this is a 2 years old post, perhaps it will help future searches to get a compatible 2666MHz RAM. Here is a link that should help.
