Question Upgrading to 10 from 7 with a new motherboard and CPU?

I had a motherboard die on a Windows 7 PC, and replaced the mobo and CPU. I'm now installing Windows 10 onto the drive that has Windows 7, and I'm wondering if I can use the Upgrade installation option or if I have to do a fresh install.

Make sure you have your valid 7 key to activate 10.
