Upgrading to a SSD

Hi all,

I want to upgrade to a SSD, Problem is that I brought a pre build system and do not have the windows dvd. I know the product code for windows. So is there any way I can install it on my SSD without using a cd?

can clone it over..
You can use something like Macrim reflect if you want a free decent tool

You can use cloning software Samsung along with some other brands come with it.
For best results your OS needs to be on a separate partition so you can just clone the operating system, option 2 on this is back up everything you wish to save and delete everything but the OS.
You could also just borrow a disc of the same operating system and install it on the SSD then move all your drivers from the hard drive to the SSD.
