I'm wanting to upgrade my computer with a new SSD. Currently, my operating system and all of my files or stored on my hard-drive. I was wondering whether it was possible to get my operating system (Windows 7) switched over to the new SSD from the hard-drive, as it means I won't loose file, and most importantly. I don't have to pay for another legit operating system.
If you can switch files over, including the operating system, then how would you do it? Please help!!

You need to reduce that current space to below 90GB or so. Some of the current migration tools won't even try to do it if the space is too close.

Also, are you actually seeing ALL the used space? What did you use to find that "123.5GB" ?

Any of these tools will do it:
Acronis Trueimage, Easus Todo, Casper, Macrium Reflect. All either free or with a free trial.

Basically, it makes an exact copy of your current drive on the new SSD.
