Upgrading to SSD

I want to get a good SSD for my computer. Just curious as to what are some good ssd's. I don't know much about them so some suggestions and why you suggest that specific one would be nice. Maybe about $100-$150 budget.

Only have the SSD attached when loading windows.

Backup anything important.

If I were rich, I'd get a ton of those and put them in RAID.
