Hello.
i have an Asus Vivobook X542UN with Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and I want to upgrade this module to Wifi 5
For my laptop model there are two options on asus website:

Network and Communication
Wi-Fi 5(802.11ac)+Bluetooth 4.1 (Dual band) 1*1
Wi-Fi 4(802.11bgn)+Bluetooth 4.0 (Single band) 1*1

anyone can help if i can make this upgrade or not?
if yes can anyone one help give link what module i need to buy.

thanks.

Yes your laptop is compatible with 802.11ac (Wi-fi 5).

You may want to check further to see if you can use a Wi-fi 6 card, it could be a better option as it also has Bluetooth 5.0
