Upgrading

Hi. I have a self build desktop with a Gigabyte G31 board and a intel core 2 duo 2.66ghz cpu and 4gb DDR2 memory. I have my eye on a 3ghz core2 duo cpu. would this make any appreciable difference. Thanks, Ron

No, it's not worth it.

No at all.as at price of core2 duo cpu you can get 2nd or 3rd gen dual core+ mobo which performs way better than that.
