So lately I was thinking about upgrading to an RX 590 or a GTX 1660 from my RX 570. (It's an ITX version with cut down Memory Clock, 1500 MHZ/6000 MHZ Effective.) But is it worth upgrading to an RX 590 or a GTX 1660? (Maybe Ti version If I can find a cheap one for like 250$.) Or should I wait a bit more and see the new GPUs? (I don't like the fact that I bought a cut down version for the same price of a normal one.)

What is the rest of your system spec including PSU make and model my friend?

The RX590 and 1660 are comparable, with negligible difference, they are an improvement over the RX570, not a huge one, but an improvement. Whether you should wait would largely depend on the rest of your system.

The rest of my system is:

Ryzen 5 1600 at Stock.

OCZ Technology 600W 80+ PSU.

12 GB DDR4 2666 MHZ Ram.

1 TB 7200RPM HDD.

128 GB SSD.

And I don't like the fact that I paid a full price of an RX 570 for a cute down version, it kinda makes me mad.

You could well go further and get something like a 1070 (maybe Ti) for a reasonable price.
The 1660 Ti would be a better improvement than both.

I probably wouldn't stretch any further than a 1070, you'd find more limitation in some applications going any higher.

My point is that, should I wait for next gen Navi GPUs from AMD, or go for 1070/1660 Ti/RX 590/1660 right now? The 590 comes with Xbox Game Pass for only 215$.

You may as well wait, there's no real telling what the GPUs will be like at the moment. The 5700XT has been fantastic, and jumping to a 1660 will be good, but not hugely substantial.

No harm in waiting to see how it pans out in my opinion. But this is all subjective, so It's down to you ultimately.

There's sites that say RX 5600 will be something to race with the GTX 16 series, however the 4GB memory is getting kinda "not enough" for today's standarts. I've seen a few benchmark videos where the R5 1600 is a bottleneck for the 1660 Ti, is that true?

Technically any card can bottleneck any CPU and vice versa.

Completely depends on the application, the resolution and quality being played at, and what else is being done in the background. I have no doubt that in some areas, the 1600 will not be able to handle the 1660, but in many other applications, it will be fine.

On more CPU intensive applications, the 1600 could definitely be a limiting factor. But I wouldn't be far off saying that the 1660 and 1600 are a fairly good match in many respects.

So what should I upgrade to? 1660, RX 590, or 1660 Ti? I'd go for an used 1070, but.. The used market in my country is a bit.. How can I say, "unsafe."
