uplay download problems

I normally avoid buying games from uplay but I received a promo code today and got assassin's creed unity free. So I tried to download and install the game in uplay. But it's behaving very weird. At first, for 5 hours download was stuck at 0B/s. Going to resource monitor shows that it is using internet at 130-140 B/s(bytes) After that, right now, the speed is going up to 256kB/s for 5-10 seconds and then gradually falling back to 0B/s and stays there for 10-15 minutes. I have 2mbps internet plan. Tried both WiFi and Ethernet connection. All other programs use internet fine. Steam downloads at 150-200kB/s. only uplay is causing problem. No kind of bandwidth limit enabled. I tried deleting and restarting download too but it was in vain. Any solution?

You need to work with uplay and your ISP to sort out what the issue is, could be something is blocked.
