Question Upload speed slow

Hey everyone. My upload on my PC with ethernet was being slow so I bought a new TP-link AX5400 router and my upload speed was still slow. I tested the speed using speedtest.net on my PC and my iPhone and the upload on my phone was faster. I plugged the ethernet cable into my laptop and got 800 Mbps upload with both direct ethernet and a USB to ethernet. I used the USB to ethernet on my PC and got a slightly better upload with speeds of around 600. I tried different ethernet cables and still had no luck. I also contacted Verizon and they said that the reason is that I am not using their router. If anyone knows why this is and if they know of any fixes, please let me know.

Update: I found out that it was my Nord VPN web protection that was making it slower.

which ethernet adapter are you using in your PC?
or which motherboard are you using?

what´s your subsription speed from verizon?
try a different speed test site like https://www.verizon.com/speedtest/

check the speed within windows by using the taskmanager

which modem are you using? did you change the wan ethernet cable from modem to router as well?
what connection speed from verizon is the modem showing in the dashboard?

windows ethernet connection is set to private and not public?

other firewall or antivirus tools installed?
