Hi Guys,

If i purchased a 1 gigabit internet speed upload/download and a pc and set-up a VPN in USA, and i live in Middle East, can i access my US-based PC and upload content from my Middle East PC using the US-Based 1 gigabit internet speed, or will i be limited to my ISP in Middle East?

In simple terms, can i use my internet upload speed in the US to upload huge content online from my current physical location in Middle East?

The transfer speed from your PC in the Middle East to your PC in the US will be limited by either your Middle East upload speed or your USA download speed - whichever one is lower. If you have content stored on a hard drive in your computer in the US, you can upload that content to the web from there with your one gigabit internet.

A more detailed example: I don't know what your intended application is - take Facebook as an easy example. If Facebook's download speed for content uploads from computers is 500Mbps, that will be the maximum transfer speed since they cannot download as fast as you can upload from the US. If Facebook's download speed is higher, say 1500Mbps, then the upload of content from your US based computer to Facebook...
