UPS always overloads and shuts down

My specs are :

AMD FX 6300 ---- CPU

ASUS M5A97 R2.0 ------- MOBO

CORSAIR CX500 ----------- PSU

SAPPHIRE R9 270X 4GB --------- GPU

ADATA 1600 MHZ 8GB ---- RAM

SEAGATE BARRACUDE 1 TB ---- HDD

CRUCIAL BX 100 ------ SSD

2 CASE FANS AND 1 WLAN CARD



THE UPS I AM USING IS CYBERPOWER BU1000E

The ups is 1000 VA and the power supply is 500w, still as soon as i remove the plug from the wall outlet and with the pc turned on, the ups just gives in and shuts down. What seems to be the problem???

i use my 46 inch lg led tv as monitor and it is NOT plugged into the ups. Just the pc

bro everything is working quite well, when plugged into the wall outlet but as soon as i remove the ups plug from the wall socket, the ups is not able to provide any power backup at all!!

Hello... Batteries are a necessary Evil... they wear out fast and often... that's the only replaceable part to an UPS system... look there first B )

it is not , it is just two days old. I read good reviews of cyberpower. Does it have to do something with the load? Like my ups is 1000 va so it can output a power of 600w, Now my psu is 500w, so can there be the possiblity of my pc drawing more than 600 w of power since psu is not 100 % efficient?

yes charged it for 10 hours before putting it to use? Should i get a ups with a higher Capacity ??

would 800 va be okay or is it too low? also i am not sure about the power consumption of my pc. It has 500w psu but since it is not 100% efficient then it must consume more than 500w. What if it consumes more than 600w ?

This may be a stupid question but did you connect the battery when you got it,they are normally shipped with the battery disconnected.
