UPS Cyberpower BR850 Battery protect side dead

Hi,

I have a Cyberpower UPS BR850 EL CD and after our power went off by Endevour Mainence in the area, the battery protection side of the inlets does not work.

I move the plugs to the surge side and it works, yet not the battery protection side.

This is only less than 1 year old.

Any ideas please?

Is the battery still OK? If so then the shunt component may be defective and you may have to replace it. You should probably contact Cyberpower for support.

What is the best way to check the battery strength?
