Hello. Wife and I are very soon moving to Nicaragua for a few years and have been told its best to invest in at least 3 UPS. Power is known to flicker on/off throughout the day, luckily we have a back up generator, so the power is only off for a few minutes (normally, lol)

My computer specs:

MOBO
GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

POWER:
COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M600 RS-600-AMBA-D3 600W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active

VIDEO:
XFX HD-585X-ZAFC Radeon HD 5850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card w/ Eyefinity

I have read that APC is the best. But what is confusing me is "sine wave" and other types of power. Just need a fairly simple UPS that can last for a few minutes.

Any guidance would be great. And yes I did see the UPS FAQ section, but stil confused, I'm only a guy,lol

They say one should get a UPS for your TV, I'm assuming a very simple UPS should suffice for that.

And Yes Nicaragua';s power is the same as the USA 120volts, 60hz,

Thanks

Was thinking the CyberPower CP850AVRLCD Intelligent LCD Green UPS - 850VA/510W AVR 9-Outlet RJ11/45/Coax

OR

RETAIL ONLY BACK-UPS XS 1000VA

Just unsure what they mean by "Retail Only"
