UPS needed for a 600W PSU gaming pc

Hey all,

I have a 1080ti desktop pc with a 600W psu. I currently have a 1500VA/900W UPS, but when my pc is running a game and the electricity goes, the ups switches off in 5sec. Isn’t a 1500VA/900W ups supposed to be enough?

A 1500VA UPS may only support 450W (about 1/2 the rated). But it should hold for at least a couple min. If your battery is new, then it may be that the manufacturer overrated the product. Which specific UPS do you have?
