So the other day I bought a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R from eBay, the seller said it was pulled from a working PC but has been in storage for a while. When I went to plug it in (with a known working CPU, GPU, RAM and PSU), the "clear CMOS" button on the side lit up, but when I turned it on nothing happened. I have 100% made sure everything is plugged in correctly.
However, upon detailed inspection, the motherboard has some unusual marks on the backside. It's hard to describe, but when I go to wipe it, it doesn't come off at all. It will be easier to understand if you look at the following pictures. It may have been damaged while it was in storage.
Any reply would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
