this is my first time building a pec and I just installed the power supply. It comes with a bunch of cables and I have no idea where to plug them all in. I did plug in the twenty four pin connector that snaps together correctly, but I need help with all the other cables!! It's a asus z97 a mobo and an evga super nova 650 power supply

Solution
Honestly they go where they can fit. They are like puzzle pieces and only fit where they supposed to. Just be little bit cautious and watch a couple of youtube videos about building computers.

Make sure you discharge static charge from your hands while your putting your parts together.
the cable with the 2x 4 pins go into the other one on the motherboard. the flat ones go into the optical drive, hard drive, and SSD(if you have one), and then the ones with the 6+2 pins go into your graphics card, and the ones with the flat 4 pin "molex" go into anything that needs it. and the corresponding one is labled on the PSU and cable. I got a similar PSU

and do you read manuals. its all supposed to be in the manual

+1 for discharging static. its good to do that before touching each component or so. or just keep frequent contact with a large metal object
