(I'm typing this on a backup laptop, your patience is greatly appreciated)

System Specs:

CPU Ryzen 9 7950 x3d
Motherboard ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI 6E Socket AM5
memory: G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000
case Phanteks Enthoo Pro TG PH-ES614PTG
CPU cooler DeepCool LT720 Premium Liquid CPU Cooler, 360mm
Graphics Card GIGABYTE - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Gaming OC 16GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0
Power Supply CORSAIR - RMx Series RM850x 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
SSD Corsair Core 600mp 1tb, Samsung 980 pro 1tb

Here's the deal: A day ago, my CPU cooler (the LT720) wet the bed on me and started making very loud fan noises, and showing 0 rpm in the bios (can visually verify fans are turning at some speed). Was able to track noise to one fan on the CPU cooler itself.

I'm working through an RMA with deepcool, but if that somehow does not pan out (and I need to go full geek mode and fix this myself), I'm going to need to buy 3 new fans for this setup.

This is where you come in. If I have to fix this, the replacement fans will need to be able to provide 85cfm airflow (as per the website).

These are the fans I'm looking at for a replacement:

Would this particular fan be decent enough for a replacement? If not, do you have a better option (other than replace the entire cooler, which I'd like to avoid)?

If pump is dead, then there's no other option than replacing it (entire AIO).
Additional fans can't do anything there.

Can you show a photo of your system with side panel removed?

May be you have improper placement of radiator and this is causing the problem.
Pump can not be in highest point of the loop or air gets into it and pump gets damaged.

AFAIK, pump is functional (bios shows it's still pumping, and temps are 50 degrees celsius).

I'll provide photos when I get back from VA optometry appointment.

RPM is not a guarantee the pump is working, just the motor.

On very old units you can occasionally see the blades of the pump break down. Usually due to debris and gunk acting as an abrasive.

Internal seals can fail, leading to water pressure going where it shouldn't, reducing pump effectiveness.

The fin stack itself can get clogged and no amount of RPM can force water through.

Still, if you believe the issue is limited to a single fan and you want to replace all three, pretty much any 120mm fan 4-pin PWM fan will work. Just depends on what you want to spend.

My recommendation today is probably the Phanteks T30 which is a 30mm thick clone of the Noctua A12x25mm. Though there are plenty of Static Pressure/Airflow hybrids that most high end RGB fans have become. Not too many pure static pressure fans out there.

Update:

For some reason, the problem I was having disappeared after talking to Tech Support at Deepcool. Will be doing everything (includes taking the cooling to ramming speed) and see if I can make it return so I can document the sound for all to hear.

Thanks to everyone for your help, will update this thread if the problem resurfaces.
