US and DS lights are both solid orange/amber.

The US and DS lights on my arris modem are both orange. I just had a guy from suddenlink come out and "fix it" but they are still orange, and my internet is very slow. My ping fluctuates from 60 to 999 in games. Please help.

The orange light usually means that the connection speed is not set to the fastest it can support. There are several things that can affect this. The easy things to check are the cable and the drivers on the PC.
