US Cellular S7 to Straight Talk

I have seen a few people having success with taking a US cellular phone and switching it over to straight talk! HOW?!!!! My phone is a S7 and I checked to make sure it was compatiable already with byop and it is. But I'm so stuck on what to do next. Please help!!

Isn't it as simple as taking it to Straighttalk, buying a plan and a new SIM card?

I created an account just to say this. The phone must be unlocked. You have to use an AT&T sim card from straight talk for the activation to fully work (e.g. get 4G LTE data) just switch the preferred network to LTE/GSM. When you talk to straight talk just tell them the phone is factory unlocked and activate the sim card. This is also what I had to do with my verizon unlocked galaxy S7. Could not get LTE data with the straight talk verizon sim card. Had to use AT&T sim card from straight talk.
