Hi all! I was wondering if I could order a monitor from the US (they're cheaper), and then plug it into the wall here in AUS. I know that out of the box that's not possible. What I am wondering is if there is something out there that allows me to plug my into some sort of adapter so I can use the monitor here is Australia.

All thought and opinions appreciated!

Thanks!

Solution
1. Are you sure you took into account the exchange rate? 1 USD = 1.31 AUD.
2. Yes there are outlet adapters to convert from AUS outlet to US outlet.

If this is the route you are willing to take, I am sure there are US companies that will ship to you in Australia but the shipping cost will be atrocious.

Solution

I am getting it from Amazon and I have a prime membership which gives me free shipping. Also, yes I have taken the exchange rate into account. The monitor I am looking at is about $30 AUD cheaper in the US. Thanks for the quick reply. Glad to know there is a solution.
