a client ordered a new dell pc with a printer. i could not find the usb 2.0
cable which connects the computer to the printer. the printer setup sheet
says that this cable is a separate purchase. could the dell sales person
possible have screwed this up?
shouldn't he almost automatically sell this cable?

Pete;
Look on the invoice, is it there?
If not just buy it, will probably be cheaper anyways.

The sales rep should have mentioned it for at least 2 reasons:
The customer may need it.
Maximize the sale.

Is it possible the client misunderstood and said no when asked?

On the order page it clearly says "printer cable not included with printer".
It must be purchased separately just as parallel printing cables have always
been a separate purchase.
