USB 2.0 headers and front panel question

I have 2 USB 2.0 10-pin headers on my motherboard. I also have 2 USB 2.0 ports on my Corsair 650D case. Each of these 2 ports, have a 10 pin female connector attached, which means if I plug each one up to my motherboard headers, I end up using both headers and only get 2 USB ports out of the deal. Each 2.0 header on the motherboard is capable of running 2 USB ports. I'm shorting myself 2 additional ports by doing this.
Is there some type of y-adapter that will take the two 10 pin connectors from the front panel and have them go into 1 10-pin female so I can plug it into 1 USB 2.0 header on my motherboard leaving the other header open? I would appreciate any input on this.

I have alot of peripherals...mouse, keyboard, 3D mouse, card reader, scanner, printer, ext HD...etc. It's more of me being anal about wasting a header than it is about really having to have it. I could use some of my USB 3.0 connections, add ports by pci slot, or add a hub, BUT, I thought there might be some connector out there that one of the gurus might know about that would allow me to take these 2 front ports with seperate 10-pin connectors and bring them into 1 connector that will connect to 1 header which would allow me free up an extra header for 2 more USB ports.

I totally agree on that. It doesn't make any sense why they would have each port on a separate header cable especially on a such an expensive case. I have an Antec 300 and both USB 2.0 ports work just fine on one header. I looked for quite some time yesterday and couldn't find a splitter.
