In my PC I'm building, my headphones are USB 2.0, however, the only USB 2.0 ports are in the back, on the motherboard. The ports in the front are 3.0. So I was wondering if there was some sort of adapter I could buy so I can plug a USB 2.0 in a USB 3.0 port. Thanks!

Yes, exactly as others have said. The only note of caution is this: for real USB3 devices, they only work at faster rates etc. if plugged into a USB3 port. So consuming such a port for a USB2 device MAY limit how many real USB3 devices you can use later. If that's a problem, get a simple USB2 extension cord to let your earphones reach the rear ports.
